I am a resident of Grand Haven and met the lovely Lynell at the 2005 Irish Jig. I recently started a new website that entertains, educates, and inspires runners. I began running at Cadillac High School during football practice conditioning and was bless with God's gifts of endurance and speed. In 1996 I represented our country in the Atlanta Olymic Games. I relied on my faith in the Lord to recover from a lawnmower accident that amputated two toes in 1997. I fully recovered and return to U.S. number one Mile runner in 1998 and 2001. I look forward to inspiring people to do what they thought not possible through perserverance and faith in Jesus Christ.

I live in Hudsonville. I started running about 5 years ago and finished the 2004 25K at 2:35 (30 minutes better than last year!) I run 20+/miles a week and now training for the GR Marathon in October (my first). Tuesday evenings are bad for me because I work late. Because my wife and I have 5 adolescents, honestly, the most reliable time to run is early in the morning. Saturday mornings and Sunday evenings also work well.

well, not having read everyone elses comments I don't really know what to say except that with Christ we truly can do anything. Even if you can't run a block now, you can accomplish your goals. I am learning (slowly) that truysting and leaning on God is the only way to live. I have faith that someday I will run a marathon and that in the short term I will finish a sprint triathalon, everyone gets discouraged but I know that with faith we can do anything.

I finally got involved with MHRG a little over a year ago and have completed marathons in Frisco and Chicago with their help.
